UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of an experienced Health Specialist who will be accountable for contributing to the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Supplemental Immunization Activities (SIA) component of the immunization programme in conjunction with Child Survival & Development, Maternal & Child Heaith. Health and Nutrition components within the country programme.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies
1. Advanced university degree in Public Health, Paediatric Health. Child Development. Child Heaith, Nutrition, EpidemiOlogy, Public Administration. SOCial Poiicy, Social Development, Community Development or other relevant disciplines.2. Five years of professional work experience in planning. programming, implementation monitoring and evaluation of healthilmmunizalion programmes. Professional work. experience related to child survival & health care. Working experience, backgroundifamiliarity with Emergency, an asset.
3. Fluency in English, Knowledge of local working language of the duty station an asset.

6. Applying Technical Expertise, Planning, setting standards and monitoring work
7. Team Leadership, managing resources, influencing and good judgement.
