Location: Kano, Nigeria.

Experience Level: Senior Manager/Supervisor

This position is responsible for overseeing all communications between eHealth Africa and local partners relating to the implementation of the vaccination tracking and map correction projects. 

As part of the logistics team, this person will ensure that partner organizations are well informed of project activities and expectations as well as to forward relationships with local partners to encourage buy-in and cooperation. 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with partner organizations prior to immunization campaigns to inform them of the project objectives and answer all questions
• Resolve any conflicts encountered in the field between eHealth field staff and LIO/WFP
• Inquire about the job performance of staff in the field following campaigns to ensure quality of implementation
• Encourage communication between partners who have participated in previous tracking campaigns and new partners
• Provide friendly check-ins with partners to build relationships
• Communicate with LGAs prior to map correction to inform them of the task and encourage their involvement
• Ensure that LGAs and wards have received their corrected maps and believe them to be accurate
• Work with field staff to do trainings on effective communication skills
• Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate

• Superior communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to resolve conflicts effectively
• Able to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm
• Exhibits a team oriented attitude, and is quick to adapt and deal with stressful situations
• Proficient in use of IT systems and Microsoft office suite
