Job Profile:
This is a Deputy Manager position. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP), the successfulcandidate will be required to manage and support the achievement of key programme deliverables. The successful candidate will act as the project's private sector point person propelling project active engagement with professional associations and manufacturers. In addition s/he will support the DCOP to provide technical oversight to project behaviour change communication, community based distribution and media strategies. The successful candidate will manage project budget implementation to achieve not more than 15% variation quarterly.
Qualifications/Experience: The desired candidate:
- Must possess a first degree in the Social/ Behavioural or Medical Sciences. A Masters degree in public health or a related field will be important to this position.
- Must possess a minimum six (6) years post NYSC experience, at least 4 of which must be in
- Community engagement/mobilisation of family planning and child survival intervention programmes.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and to deliver under tight timelines.
- Must have outstanding training and report writing skills
