Vacancy at SFH - Assistant Director, Financial Reporting – Abuja


Job Profile: 

This is a Senior Management position which the successful candidate will be a key staff in managing 
and supervising of all financial reporting activities. This position reports to the Chief Financial 
Officer. This position will provide finance schedules to auditors; produce monthly and other periodic financial and management accounts and produce donor budget monitoring reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of progress updates on disbursement requests for all projects. 
S/He will assist in conducting capacity building for Sub-Recipients. S/He will prepare 
summary reports after review of Income and Expenditure and balance sheet monthly, confirm that all projects have recognized entries for the month in SAP and present report during financial review meeting every month. S/He will review staff severance schedule for accuracy, unrestricted funds accounts and Enterprise funds reports monthly. S/He will collate and review all bank reconciliations prepared by projects and SFH corporate unit.

Job Profile: 

This is an Assistant Manager position reporting to the Director, Global Fund Malaria. The successful candidate will provide regular update on project implementation status in the southern region and oversee project SR management for the region. S/He will take charge of SR/Contractor engagement in the region; provide updates on Global Fund Malaria Divisional financial status. In addition, the successful candidate will liaise with the financial department on program/financial audits and also participate in co-ordination / partnership meetings.

Vacancy at SFH - Manager, Maternal and Child Health (based in Abuja)

Job Profile: 

This is a Manager position. Reporting to the Deputy Director, the successful candidate will be 
required to manage and drive Programme deliverables related to Maternal and Child Health with 
particular emphasis on the ORS/Zinc product strategy. This will include; the introduction, 
implementation of the strategy and also scaling up treatment for diarrhea in Nigeria. S/He will also lead in the technical development for maternal, neonatal & child health (MNCH) strategies and activities, achieve 100% MNCH project deliverables including malaria, nutrition, and diarrhoea prevention programmes. S/He will lead the implementation of the integrated community case management (iCCM) of childhood illnesses, and conduct joint TOT for PPMVs on iCCM of 
childhood illnesses across the nation. The successful candidate will coordinate and liaise with all 
related MNCH implementing partners and donors with particular attention to ORS and Zinc product development and promotion. The successful candidate will be required to lead in research and creative brief development on relevant MNCH projects as well as ensure monitoring plans are developed to assist in working with SFH sales and distribution and SFH M&E departments.

Vacancy at SFH - Deputy Programmes Manager (ESMPIN) - (based in Abuja)


Job Profile: 

This is a Deputy Manager position. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP), the successful 
candidate will be required to manage and support the achievement of key programme deliverables. The successful candidate will act as the project's private sector point person propelling project active engagement with professional associations and manufacturers. In addition s/he will support the DCOP to provide technical oversight to project behaviour change communication, community based distribution and media strategies. The successful candidate will manage project budget implementation to achieve not more than 15% variation quarterly.

Job Profile: 

Reporting to the Territorial Manager with a dotted line relationship to the Head of Finance, 
the successful candidate will be primarily be responsible for the proper application of SFH 
and donor policies in the handling of Finances of all projects in the territories, s/he will 
ensure the efficient management of finances and also ensure adequate records are kept 
safely and in an easily retrievable manner. He/she will be responsible for sending financial 
reports to Headquarters and will assist in the drawing up of project budget, its monitoring 
and the recording of variances. In addition, he/she will reconcile all staff accounts and 
produce an ageing report and also analyse retirements to ensuring they have both the 
appropriate approvals and support documents which comply with SFH policies.

Job Profile: 

Reports to the Assistant Director-HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for all 
personnel and staff matters. S/he will prepare relevant employee statistics. Update all staff 
records as at when necessary, advise employees on new policy changes and implement all 
HR deliverables. Must be conversant with the Nigerian Labour Law.

Vacancy at SFH - Senior Officers, Accounts - (4 positions all based in Abuja)


Job Profile: 

This is a second level position reporting to the Head - Project Accounting; the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and booking vendor invoices into SAP. S/He will review all approved retirements for completeness and accuracy and post into SAP, provide schedules to auditors, assist to produce project budget monitoring reports, review common cost journals, assist to prepare 
quarterly accrual reports, assist to prepare monthly liquidation reports to the donor, prepare annual 
statutory payment reports and assist with review of Sub-Awardees financials. S/He will also assist to 
conduct monthly reconciliation of all project bank accounts and financial transactions. S/He will 
review all transactions posted into donor project books and make corrections where necessary before 
they are posted for consolidation.
