Vacancy at Save the Children - Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Position - Abuja



Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country Programme. These roles will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme. 

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Type:    Full Time
Min Qualification:   BSc
Experience: 2-3 years
Location:      Abuja

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure implementation of the M&E plan for Health & Child Survival programmes including monitoring progress against planned activities, critical milestones and targets as well as providing support and guidance to program officers and government counterparts to ensure that the data collection, data management and reporting, are of the highest possible quality. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate should possess atleast a Bachelor's degree in related field.
  •  2-3 years previous experience with local and international NGOs; previous experience in Health System Strengthening programmes using the National HMIS software.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office applications. web-based applications andadvanced statistical package utilization e.g SPSS, STATA-12. OH IS etc).
  • Willingness to travel and ability to work in partnership with government and other NGO's staff.
